Ann Cassidy

Ann was a 1936 graduate of Frontenac High School, and dedicated her life to supporting her school and the athletes of FHS.

With the original Frontenac football field in her backyard, and across the street from Spigarelli Field, it was not uncommon for players to see Ann as they were leaving practice, or getting ready for games.  She was always there for “her boys” as she knew the football players, and they were always there for her.  You could always find her with a big smile on her face, and occasionally with a treat or two for her boys.

As the school began to expand, Ann was called on to move her house to Druart Street, which she agreed to do.  She embodied the Frontenac community with her generosity, sacrifice, support, and love for those that she encountered, and truly made Frontenac Schools a better place.
