Dick Pallucca
Inducted 2026
Richard “Dick” Pallucca was a lifelong resident of Frontenac and a beloved figure of the community. Dick Pallucca graduated with the FHS Class of 1957.
Dick was best known as the longtime owner of Pallucca’s, the historic family grocery and meat market. He joined the family business at a young age and, following the death of his father, Joe, in 1959, took on a major role in running the store at just 20 years old. He eventually became the sole owner and provided Frontenac and the surrounding area with an Italian meat market and deli, specializing in meats, prepared foods, and catering.
Beyond his business, Dick was deeply involved in Frontenac and was remembered by his generosity, humor, and willingness to help others. Store patrons would encounter a smile, a story, or a good-natured bit of teasing. He was one of the five founding members of the Frontenac Education Foundation, helping to establish an organization that continues to support Frontenac students today, and an avid supporter of anything Frontenac!
Dick passed away in 2013, but his legacy remains closely tied to Pallucca’s, his family, and the close-knit community of Frontenac where generations remember him as a friendly, hardworking, and generous hometown figure.
