Joseph Skubitz

Mr. Skubitz graduated from FHS in 1925 earning multiple debate awards in high school as well as
his notable achievement in basketball. Following graduation, Mr. Skubitz used his career in law to
enter politics. In 1962, Joe Skubitz was elected to the United States House of Representatives and
continued that career until he retired following the 1978 term.
